On any given day you shoot for about 6 hours, receiving feedback on the images you capture. Enjoy authentic cuisine, explore galleries, meet local artists, and discover the most photogenic corners of the city; we improvise depending on the season. You can also go on a private quest at any point. We’re flexible so you can make the most of your trip.

If you have a digital camera, and the desire to develop your ability to capture subjects in motion and experience a city in a whole new way, you should join us in our creative adventures. Our groups are small, six to 15 photographers, to guarantee complete interaction with Cylla and other participants.

Cylla von Tiedemann, a movement and dance photographer with over two decades of experience capturing moving bodies, inspires you to explore the artistic possibilities of your surroundings. With the help of a local assistant and professional dancers, she takes you on a mesmerizing photographic journey.

On our urban adventures, you become proficient at motion photography and the techniques to shoot movement, like taking advantage of available light and reacting efficiently to a new and changing situation. You also learn how to communicate with the dancers to bring the best out of them, to connect figure with architecture, and to take advantage of color, lines and abstraction to capture an artistic image. You learn to create vibrant and dynamic photographs.
